Kindle Book Launch -- plus Bonuses!
by Betty Jo Tucker

Entertainment journalist and publisher Diana Saenger calls It Had To Be Us “the little book that could.” I think she’s referring to the way this romantic memoir my husband and I co-wrote, under the pen names of Harry and Elizabeth Lawrence, keeps getting a new life.

What's our book about? It deals with how -- after being divorced and estranged for nearly twenty years -- the two of us accidentally met again and rediscovered our lost love. In It Had To Be Us, we share our candid feelings about the poignant events that brought us back together. Filled with suspense, humor and heartfelt emotion, our true story proves that genuine love can survive any of life's problems.

Diana Saenger’s company (SANDS) first published our book as a paperback in 2001, then Laura Mills-Alcott of The Romance Club turned it into an E-book, and now Long Story Short Publishing has published an expanded edition for Amazon’s KINDLE.

This latest reincarnation of It Had To Be Us includes an amusing new honeymoon revelation plus a section devoted to some of Harry and Elizabeth’s favorite romantic movies. So if you’ve read the other versions, there’s still something fresh for you in the Kindle offering.

It Had To Be Us won first place in the E-book category at the 2006 Hollywood Book Festival, where winners were selected on the basis of potential to be translated into other media areas, such as films. How exciting for the co-authors, because we both love movies so much!  We were also happy when Scott Smith of The Pueblo Chieftain called It Had To Be Us “screenplay worthy” -- and when many other readers commented on their wishes to see it adapted for the screen.

Publisher/publicist extraordinaire Denise Cassino is coordinating the It Had To Be Us Kindle edition Book Launch, which begins today (August 3). By purchasing our book --  for only $5.99 -- through the launch program, you also receive bonus items, including an E-book copy of Confessions of a Movie Addict, my life-at-the-movies memoir.

Click HERE for more details about this Book Launch, including the bonuses available. If you don’t have a Kindle device, there’s a free download which allows you to view the copy on your computer.

My husband and I want to thank Denise Cassino, who heads up Long Story Short Publishing and Wizardly Web Designs, for her wonderful work coordinating our Book Launch and for her belief in the continued appeal of our real-life story about the power of love.
