'2012' - Fact or Fiction?
by Betty Jo Tucker

Documentary filmmaker Peter Hankoff and fantasy author Lanaia Lee will visit “Movie Addict Headquarters” on Tuesday, November 17, to discuss 2012 and other disaster movies. Lanaia’s intriguing new book, Skulls of Salvation, deals with the Mayan end-of-the-world predictions, and Peter also knows a thing or two about ancient prophecies. His Megadisasters series aired on The History Channel and his latest show Nostradamus: Decoded played recently on the National Geographic Channel.

The ancient Mayans predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012. Roland Emmerich’s new thriller 2012, starring John Cusack, is based on this epic prophecy. Is what we see on the screen different than real historical prophecies? Peter and Lanaia will bring their knowledge and perspectives to this fascinating discussion. Peter’s work has taken him all over the world and all over cable networks. His programs for Unsolved History (Discovery Channel) have taken him inside Hitler’s Bunker and Area 51.  His series Gun Camera aired on the Military Channel.  Lanaia’s background includes writing Of Atlantis, the wildly popular first offering in her planned five-book historical fantasy series. Skulls of Salvation is the thrilling second installment in this exciting series.

This special show airs for 45 minutes on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. During the live podcast, listeners are invited to call in and to participate in a chat. An archived segment will also be available.
