ReelTalk Movie Reviews
Spooky Cinema on BTR
by Betty Jo Tucker

Whether it’s a gruesome headless horseman in Sleepy Hollow or those forlorn spirits in The Sixth Sense, ghosts have offered plenty of ectoplasm to frighten and entertain movie fans. Some succeed and some fail, of course. So far this year, we’ve seen such ghostly releases as Shutter, Over Her Dead Body, Ghost Town and 1408. Not all movies about ghosts are creepy -- but, like many viewers, those are my favorites.

Actress Rosemary Gore and Mad Movie Man A. J. Hakari will drop by BlogTalkRadio's “Movie Addict Headquarters” to discuss the best and worst ghost movies ever filmed on Tuesday, October 28 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Rosemary, a member of the prestigious Women in Film organization, has appeared in several scary movies including Fear of the Dark and Baby Doll, and A.J. is the horror expert for Reel Talk Movie Reviews as well as the founder of Passport Cinema

What’s your favorite ghost movie? Here’s a short list to jog your memory:

An American Haunting

Dark Water

The Canterville Ghost

Gothika

Poltergeist

The Ring

The Sixth Sense

The Skeleton Key

Sleepy Hollow

What Lies Beneath

Ghost Story

The Others

The Uninvited

The Amityville Horror

The Grudge

During this live BlogTalkRadio show, listeners are invited to call in and to participate in a chat. The call-in number is 646-478-5668.
