George Bettinger: Mr. Showbiz
by Betty Jo Tucker

George Bettinger, is an actor, producer, writer, director and impressionist extraordinaire. Groucho Marx, George Burns and Jack Benny are three of George’s favorite impressions, so prepare for some funny business with these classic comedians during the April 5th Movie Addict Headquarters episode. George was also one of the voices in The Secret of Mulan film and is a “Roast” expert. Just line up the participants and roastee, and George will take it from there! He’s currently busy teaching acting, creative writing and hosting live shows.

In 1982 George started in TV with Movie Magic, which ran on Manhattan Cable Television from 1982 - 1987. It was cartoons, comedy and fun. Soupy Sales said George made him think of himself when he was young. During the making of Movie Magic, George was also appearing on The Joe Franklin Show and The Uncle Floyd Show.

Next he moved on to doing radio and TV commercials. Soon he was producing and directing corporate training films for companies such as Pfizer, Hoffman LaRoche, The Cancer Institute and Maimonides Medical Center. George Bettinger's Mom & Pop Variety Shop CD is available internationally and has been mentioned in The Daily News, New York Post and Herald Tribune papers.

George Bettinger’s interview airs Tuesday, April 5, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on BlogTalkRadio. During the live show, listeners are invited to call in and to participate in a chat. An archived segment will also be available.
