English heartthrob Greg Ellis joins Movie Addict Headquarters on February 15th to talk about his exciting acting career, including his role in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in 3D. In this much-anticipated movie, Ellis stars alongside Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz, as Lieutenant Commander Theodore Groves, an officer serving in the Royal Navy who must race against the infamous pirate captain Jack Sparrow to find the Fountain of Youth. Ellis will also discuss his starring role in the anticipated new action web series The Confession, produced by Kiefer Sutherland, which premieres in March on Hulu. 

Ellis’ breakthrough film role was in the highest grossing film of all time, Titanic. He has since appeared in Beowulf opposite Angelina Jolie and in Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Jolie and Brad Pitt.  His television credits include TNT’s drama and comedy series Trust Me with Eric McCormack, the hit FOX series 24 and a series regular on Nickelodeon’s hit teen comedy, Gigantic. 

An accomplished voice-over actor, Ellis lends his voice to shows such as Boondocks, The Fairly Odd Parents, Scooby Doo, and the recently released video games, Final Fantasy XIV, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Clash of the Titans.  Adding to his decorated acting career, Ellis’ accomplishments in music as a singer/songwriter include 3 Top 20 singles in Italy.

Among his vast array of interests, Ellis enjoys competing in triathlons including the Annual Malibu Triathlon, benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and the Challenged Athlete Triathlon.
