St. Patrick's Day on BTR
by Betty Jo Tucker

What’s your favorite movie about Ireland or the Irish? Noted film critic John P. McCarthy drops by “Movie Addict Headquarters” on March 17th for a special St.. Patrick’s Day discussion focusing on such wonderful films as: This Is My Father, starring Aidan Quinn; Dancing at Lughnasa, directed by Pat O’Connor and starring Meryl Streep; and The Wind That Shakes the Barley, with Cillian Murphy. Faith n’ Begorrah, there might also be some surprise guests!

McCarthy, the editor of Cineman Syndicate, is the one responsible for those clever “Little Man in a Chair” reviews seen in many newspapers nationwide. He’s a regular contributor to ReelTalkReviews.com, and his film critiques also appear in Box Office Magazine. McCarthy has written for Daily Variety, Time Out New York and was on the staff of TV Guide.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by listening to “Film Me, I’m Irish!” on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. During the live show, listeners are invited to call in and to participate in a chat. The call-in number is 646-478-5668. An archived segment will also be available.
