Newman Tribute on BTR
by Betty Jo Tucker

Fans of Paul Newman will have the opportunity to share their memories of this great actor on the next Movie Addict Headquarters show. On Tuesday, October 7, film critic John P. McCarthy, publisher Denise Cassino, and Hayes Ferguson of Legacy.com will join host Betty Jo Tucker and producer Nikki Starr in a special Paul Newman tribute.

The show airs on BlogTalkRadio at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. During the live broadcast, listeners are invited to call in and to take part in a chat. The call-in number is 646-478-5668. An archived segment will also be available.

A frequent and popular guest on Movie Addict Headquarters, John P. McCarthy is the founder and editor of Cineman Syndicate. Denise Cassino, an avid Newman fan, publishes the Long Story Short E-Zine; and Hayes Ferguson, the Chief Operating Officer of Legacy.com, has served as a Project Writer for People magazine as well as the Latin America Bureau Chief for The Times-Picayune of New Orleans. In addition to her work at Legacy.com, Ferguson is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Legacy.com reports that since Paul Newman’s passing, 1660 Guest Book entries have been received for the Academy Award®-winning actor. This is not surprising, considering the many splendid performances Mr. Newman left us in films like The Color of Money, The Verdict, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, Hud and Road to Perdition.

What is your favorite Paul Newman performance or film?  We would love to hear from you!
