Mad Movie Man Takes on Vampires
by Betty Jo Tucker

Watch out, creatures of the night!  Mad Movie Man A. J. Hakari promises to rant and rave about vampires on BlogTalkRadio’s “Movie Addict Headquarters” show scheduled for October 23 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

Hakari, a regular contributor to ReelTalkReviews.com and the site’s horror expert, also writes critiques for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Student Voice newspaper and hosts "The Mad Movie Man," a weekly talk radio show there.

During this fourth MAHQ Horror Month program, Hakari and I will compare our reactions to 30 Days of Night, a chilling new vampire movie starring Josh Hartnett, plus other vampire flicks. Producer Nikki Starr will also chime in with her opinions, and listeners may call the show with their comments or questions. The call-in number is 646-478-5668.

Topics to be covered on this segment include:

Why are vampire movies so popular?

What’s the best and worst vampire movie?

Which actor has given the most compelling Dracula performance?

Listen to the show by clicking on this BlogTalkRadio link at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, October 23. The show will also be available as an archived segment after the live broadcast.
