Dear Movie Fans,

Just wanted you to know there will be no live Movie Addict HQ shows until Tuesday, September 27. But, never fear, for I have chosen two “Best of MAHQ” shows to feature during the next two weeks as follows:

Sept. 13, 2016 – Jackie Chan: His Films and Performances

Sept. 20, 2016 – Debbie Reynolds: Lifetime Achievement Award  

I picked these two shows because of recent announcements that Jackie Chan will be receiving an honorary Oscar for his contributions to cinema and that Debbie Reynolds is the subject for Bright Lights, a new documentary that premiered at the Telluride Film Festival during Labor Day weekend. I am a fan of both showbiz stars, so it makes me very happy to see them receive this well-deserved attention.
