Delightful Debbie Reynolds Interview
by Betty Jo Tucker

Like millions of others, I am stunned and saddened by the recent passing of Debbie Reynolds and her daughter Carrie Fisher, two of our brightest showbiz stars. In memory of these talented entertainers, Movie Addict Headquarters is presenting an on-demand episode featuring Debbie’s delightful interview during her visit to our BlogTalkRadio show back in 2009. This episode runs from December 29th through the end of next week and can be listened to at any time.

Debbie’s fans will enjoy hearing how many times she praises daughter Carrie for her accomplishments. Other fascinating topics covered by Debbie include:

Working with Gene Kelly in Singin’ in the Rain.

Her favorite movie role.

Why Hollywood musicals waned in popularity.

How she obtained the title role in Mother.

Her reaction to Shirley MacLaine being cast for the role she wanted in Postcards from the Edge.

Advice to youngsters who want a career in movies.

Her live theater shows.

Her Hollywood Museum project.

The men in her life.

Plus, Debbie even treats listeners to a few bars of her favorite song!

Joining in the fun are co-host Jazz Shaw, film historian James Colt Harrison and Debbie Reynolds’ fan Jordan Wellin.

HOST: Betty Jo Tucker

PRODUCER: Nikki Starr
